New addition to the family!

So, Kaitlynn will be a big sister soon! I'm about 10 weeks pregnant and my due date is July 20th! Now if only the nausea and morning sickness would go away...

Utah visit

So, Kaitlynn and I finally made it out to Utah to visit. We weren't able to see all of our friends and family while we were there, which was a bummer, but it was still pretty nice. It rained a little bit every day, but other than that, I can't complain. We went camping to Potter's Ponds near the Skyline Drive in central Utah. I hadn't been camping in a long time and it was a lot of fun. It got below freezing both nights we were up there, but it was beautiful up there. Everything was so green which was amazing. Usually by this time of year (at least in the lower elevations) everything has turned brown because it is so dry. We saw lots of animals up there and Kaitlynn had a lot of fun (it was her first time camping).

Now I just wish the rain would quit here in New England. It has rained everyday all day since I've gotten back and it doesn't look like it will stop until the end of the week.....it's depressing.

Upcoming Utah visit!!

So, I'll be coming out to Utah to visit in June. I'm so excited! I'll be there from June 10th - June 17th. Huey will be staying home this time, though. I don't really have any concrete plans about what I'll be doing when I'm there yet, but I hope to see all of my family and friends while I'm there. I hope I'll be able to get a mini camping trip or at least some hiking in while I'm there. I guess we'll see. I will try to get some new pictures of Kaitlynn up in the next few days. The weather here has been gorgeous, so we've finally been able to go outside a bit.

These are from the first snow we had here a couple of weeks ago. It was only about an inch on the ground, but that didn't stop Kaitlynn from wanting to make a snowman. So, I helped her make a mini one. She kicked and screamed like crazy when it was time to go back inside!

Kaitlynn's Birthday

Kaitlynn's 3rd birthday was Dec. 4th! I can't believe she's gotten so big so fast! She made out like a bandit for her birthday, too. Huey and I got her a Nintendo DS and some games to go with it. Plus she got a ton of clothes and other stuff, too. I don't know what I'll do with all of her Christmas stuff (because she's getting spoiled for that, too). I guess a trip or four to the Salvation Army is in my future.

Halloween

I think she was the only little girl dressed as a devil in the mall (we saw one when we got home and walked around our neighborhood, but the girl was like 10 or 11). There were way too many princesses, fairies, Doras, and Disney characters. So, even though I didn't make the costume, at least I felt like her costume was somewhat original. A lot of people thought Huey and I put white make-up on her face, but all we did was put the black makeup around her eyes and on her lips. She had fun with her cousins that day and didn't want to go home.

And Huey wanted to get a Yoda costume for her. Heh.
